Multiplying Powers
When you multiply terms with the same base, you add the exponents.
Dividing Powers
When you are dividing terms with the same base, you subtract the exponents.
Negative Powers
When you see a negative power, you can flip the component between the numerator (top) and denominator (bottom).
Powers of Powers
When you have powers of powers, you will multiply the exponents.
Roots of Powers
When you have roots of powers, you will divide the exponents. Leave any remainders in the root.
