Text Message Terms

1. The Program

Duran Learning Text Alerts are text messages from Duran Learning (Anderson Duran Tutoring LLC) to students and prospective students who ask for them. At signup there are two separate, unchecked boxes next to your phone number. Checking a box is your agreement to receive that kind of message at that number. Leaving both unchecked has no effect on your account.

2. What We Send

Class reminders and account updates (the first box):

• A reminder before each live class you sign up for.
• Progress and account updates as you work through the course.
• Replies to questions you text us.

Marketing messages (the second box, separate consent):

• Recurring marketing texts about new classes, offers, and sales.

Message frequency varies. Most students receive a few messages a week during class weeks and fewer otherwise.

3. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We never charge you for text messages; your carrier may, according to your plan.

4. How to Stop

Reply STOP to any message and you will not receive further texts from us. You will get one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. To start again, reply START.

6. Your Number

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account or of any purchase.

8. How You Opt In

You ask for texts on duranlearning.com: any "Get Started" or "Get Free Access" button opens the signup form. On the profile step, under your phone number, two unchecked boxes read "I agree to receive class reminders and account updates by text from Duran Learning" and "I agree to receive recurring marketing text messages from Duran Learning about new classes, offers, and sales," followed by: "Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase." with links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Leaving both boxes unchecked has no effect on your account. Checking a box is your consent for that kind of message, and we record when you gave it, on which page, and which version of this notice you saw.
